All this and so much more in this issue of Last week in Starknet!
📣 StarkDenver was a huge success!
One of the standout events at ETHDenver was StarkDenver, organized by StarkWare, Topology, Nethermind, Argent, and StarkNet House. It was a massive success with over 350 attendees.
One of the standout features of StarkDenver was the talks about the cutting edge of the industry, like Account Abstraction from some of the best teams in the ecosystem. Don’t feel like you’re missing out, as all the talks were recorded and uploaded to YouTube for you to enjoy.
🇫🇷 StarkWare in Paris
StarkWare joined the Starknet Paris community to meet the largest community in the ecosystem. Members of the team presented and discussed various aspects of Starknet. Other teams would also explain what they’re building, giving the community a greater understanding of what’s being built.
There was also an opportunity to network and connect with others in the community during and after the presentations. With over 200 people attending this event and over 150 going to the Starknet London event last week, it’s clear that the Starknet community is growing significantly. Where will it be next year? Who knows…
👩💻 Starknet in Rust is almost here
Last week, the awesome team at LamdaClass announced that they are finally wrapping up their implementation of Starknet in Rust, explaining the new implementation could now receive transactions, execute them and modify the Starknet state accordingly.
🎧 Listen up to Starknet’s most recent community call!
Starknet’s 34th community call was held last week, featuring Hashstack, an algorithmic interest rate protocol enabling under-collateralized loans. It’s an exciting project pushing the limits of what’s possible on Starknet!
But that’s not all; you’ll also learn about the latest updates in Starknet’s latest roadmap.
🔎 An improved Searchbar UX for Starkscan users
Starkscan's new update gives the search bar a new and improved look as it enables users to see important contract information such as code and social verification badge, images, and hashes, etc., to users on search.
🗳️ A Starknet Governance fund proposal
The team at Nostra submitted a proposal on the Starknet Community Forum to launch a Governance Fund that will help onboard new developers, increase user engagement, and boost TVL on-chain.
Open to all builders and innovators in the space, the Starknet Governance Fund has the potential to accelerate the growth and adoption of Starknet in general.
🧱 Awesome Developer’s Resources
Developer Advocate at StarkWare, Omar Espejel, compiled a list of Cairo 1.0 resources that could help you get started in your Cairo 1.0 journey.
Eni from Nethermind created an ERC721 example implementation in Cairo 1.0
A new version of Starknet-react, packed with very exciting features, is out!
👀 What to look out for!
A new update is coming to Dappland this week!
We won’t give away any spoilers right now, but make sure you set a reminder for the Dappland livestream, happening on Thursday, 17:00 UTC, to be the first to experience and learn about the Dappland improvements.
